Horizon Tennis is hiring an Assistant Tennis Coach!
We are looking for an assistant coach to join us across multiple venues. It is an initial casual position and will consist of approx. 10-20 hours on court, with opportunity to grow to a full-time position. The right person for this position will enjoy travelling to different venues on a weekly/daily basis within a 10 km radius and can comfortably transport equipment from venue to venue as needed in their own vehicle.
This position is designed for a junior development coach that has experience coaching hot shots, junior level leagues and social tennis matches. Please note this is a club coach environment rather than solely high performance.
The coaching will consist predominately of:
-Hot shots coaching
-Schools coaching
-Junior Development/Junior leagues
-Adult/ game fit coaching
-Private lessons
Off-court duties will involve:
-Assisting with game fit group scheduling
-Assisting with junior league competition
-Promoting and building participation at the venue
Requirements:
QLD Drivers Licence, Must have own vehicle
Preferably you are a Tennis Australia coach member, otherwise you must be able to provide provide a Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid certification.

You should be detail oriented and able to manage your allocated schedule promptly and with responsibility.
